This is a plastic mask made using a vacuform buck (mold) and machine. It's painted silver and antiqued to give it more depth. The inside is lined with strips of foam for comfort and is held on by a ribbon.
The same mask from a more direct angle.
And this is how the mask appears when worn.
A steampunk inspired rifle. Approximately five feet in length, it was built around a toy gun. The barrel is PVC pipe and the stock is foam and fiberglass.
A different angle. Shows the canisters and tubing are present on both sides.
I ran out of time to make a sniper scope so i used a pair of sunglasses to make an eyepatch/scope instead. I personally find the results in keeping with the pirate like feel of steampunk.
This is a Kukri style knife. The blade is plastic and engraved with the image of a cobra. It is painted silver and antiqued to add depth. The handle is made of fiberglass and painted black. The pommel has a green plastic gem for decoration.
A different angle to show the jewel and a size reference.
The bouquet that I made for the bridal makeup photoshoot. Silk flowers and feathers set in foam, then wrapped and decorated with a fall of satin ribbons.
The veil I created for the bridal makeup photoshoot. Silk flowers and feathers set on either side of a green satin headband with ivory lace.
The veil from a different angle to better show the flowers on one side.
A behind view of the veil.
A pair of horns made of cotton and latex over a cardboard form. Painted with several washes in different shades of brown with white drybrushed over top.
The underside of the same pair of horns to show the texture.
A single horn to give a reference of their size.
A pair of medium sized horns made of cotton and latex over a cardboard form. Painted with several washes in different tones of gray, blue, and brown.
